Before You Begin

Before set up, make sure that:

  • your user account has API capabilities

  • your user account has Object Management capabilities

  • you have your Client ID

  • you have your API key

  • "LastActivityDate" is set as a default field on company and contact objects

**If you need help, make sure to reach out to your DealCloud Account Manager.

Updates in DealCloud

Make sure that the fields you want to use to pull back information from Grata into DealCloud have the correct list API names for 'Contacts' and 'Companies'.

  1. Go to Tools → List Management

    1. Find Company

      1. Click Edit

        1. List API Name is Company

        2. Save

      2. Add object "Relationship Owner"

        1. Set up as a User type field

        2. Associate with all User Groups

        3. Save new object, then edit

        4. List API Name is RelationshipOwner (exactly)

    2. Find Contact

      1. Click Edit

        1. List API Name is Contact

        2. Save

      2. Add object "Contact Owner"

        1. Set up as a User type field

        2. Associate with all User Groups

        3. Save new object, then edit

        4. List API Name is ContactOwner (exactly)

BEST PRACTICE
